We decided last year that we wanted a get away. Oakland's too noisy and we need some damn peace and quiet.
We bought an acre propert a half mile down a dirt road bordered by blm land. It's right on a creek. All we could hear was water. Seemed like the right location. Then we need a place to live. I thought about fixing up the cabin, but in the end a new structure was needed. This blog is about getting things in order so we can actually start visiting the place.
I started this thing right in the middle of the project so some posts are out of order and based on train of thought. Still if you've read this far, start from the beginning to get the whole picture.

ReplyDeleteThis is unrelated to the yurt and sorry but I need to see if Coretta wants to go to the Columbo Club Fashion Show on 9/19 at 11:30. Jean invited us both. I rsvp'd yes for both of us. Can you let Coretta know and if she cannot make it, that's ok too. Just wanted to let her know. Hope you are having a great week up there!
